You don’t have to walk the bridge of adolescence alone…
You are already wise. You have so much to offer. And you deserve to be fully seen as you navigate this path.
Let’s get on the same page about something right away: being a teenager is hard. Especially in this world that seems to demand so much of us.
You’re told a million ways you “should” be, but rarely what you most long for.
You see modeled for you ideas of beauty and success on social media, and they don’t always align with what you actually want for yourself.
You’re doing your best to navigate friendships and relationships, all while you’re traversing changes in your body and emotions.
And you’re cultivating your own independence which feels both exciting, but also a little scary.
I am here to support you as you walk through this challenging time, to hold what is hard, and to embrace all that you long for.
As you step toward adulthood, let’s invite the truest version of you to emerge.

I believe in the beauty of your desire…
Your longing, your desires, your bold ambitions and wild dreams are worth chasing.
I’m here to support you to befriend the real you, and to experience a sense of belonging to yourself, your community, and the world around you.
You are welcome here.
All of you. The lonely parts, the sad parts, the tired parts, the shame-filled parts.

here’s what we can explore together…

We’ll get to know the real you so you can feel the freedom to be her in the world.

We’ll find ways to support your mental health so you feel more grounded & hopeful.
navigating next steps:
And we can explore how to navigate your independence and what you want in life.
her:
I work primarily with women and teen girls.
My work is open to all who identify as women or femme, including queer, non-binary, two-spirit and trans folks.
Why “her wild hearth”?
wild:
I am here to help unearth and integrate the parts of you that may have been pushed to the sidelines.
Often - not always - these parts are a little bit more untamed. They may ask you to forge a new path, to walk on the wild side.
hearth:
I am also here to cultivate a deeply sacred well-held space for you to feel safe enough to hold what is hard up to the light.
You will travel into the wilderness, but I will always create a safe hearth for you to return to.
A little bit about me…
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.
I specialize in working with women and teen girls who want to unfold into the most fully expressed versions of themselves.
As someone who has gone through her own struggles with anxiety, depression, and a severance from self-trust, I know first hand how hard this work can be. And, I know the clarity and confidence that can come from facing what at times feels too dark and ghastly to bare, doing the work of healing those wounds, and turning toward the light instead.
While I will always be evolving, I have spent my whole adult life in the dance of becoming. Becoming braver, kinder versions of myself, taking on new roles and identities, and stepping more and more into the life I have always longed for.

I am here to hold you…
Here's how this works...
We work together for a minimum of three months. We can either meet every week, or every second week - whichever you prefer. In these sessions we hold space for everything that is coming up for you, and together we’ll problem solve and brainstorm how to navigate whatever you’re dealing with.
If you live on Salt Spring Island - we see each other in person at Madrona Integrative Health Clinic in town!
If you live elsewhere - we meet together online.
…as you do this brave work.
The process:
We begin with a 60-minute intake session in which you’ll have the opportunity to be deeply heard and understood - without judgment. We’ll get clear on the intentions for our work together and identify the ways I can best support you moving forward.
From there, we’ll meet regularly for as long as you desire.
When you are ready to wrap up our work together, we will plan and hold a final completion ceremony to walk you over the threshold of the next chapter of your life.
I’m on your team, truly.
Pricing:
Some teens prefer shorter sessions. I offer the choice of either hour-long or 45-minute sessions.
60-minute sessions: $150 CAD
45-minute sessions: $120 CAD
Please note, your first session will be an hour long so we can really get to know one another.
